Vice President Dick Cheney addresses troops and families from the Iowa Air and Army National Guard, Monday, July 17, 2006, at Camp Dodge in Johnston, Iowa. During his remarks the Vice President thanked the troops for their efforts in the global war on terror. Approximately 7,500 soldiers from the Iowa Army and Air National Guard have served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
