- BILL PURPOSE: The purpose of S.1733 is to allowindividuals living in States withEBT systems to redeem their food stamp benefits in any authorized food store anywherein the country.
- OMB ESTIMATE: S. 1733 provides full Federalfunding for the first $500,000 of directcosts each year for switching and settling interstate transactions associated with the bill. States will spend additional funds that will be partially reimbursed at the regular rate forallowable administrative costs.
