President Signs H.R. 4019, S. 310, and S. 1496

On Thursday, August 03, 2006, the President signed into law:

H.R. 4019, which clarifies and provides limitations on State taxation of retirement income.

S. 310, which authorizes the Department of the Interior to transfer the Newlands Project Headquarters and Maintenance Yard Facility in Nevada to the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District.

S. 1496, which requires the Department of the Interior to initiate a three-year pilot program in which up to 15 States can sell and distribute electronic Federal duck stamps.
