Statement on National Disaster Student Aid Fairness Act

On Friday, October 7, 2005 the President has signed into law:

H.R. 3863, the "National Disaster Student Aid Fairness Act," which makes a number of changes to campus-based student aid programs to assist higher education institutions located in areas affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and schools enrolling students displaced by the hurricanes.
